Toured at Whitefish Mountain Backcountry Resort
1" of moist new snow at mid-elevations, 2" of dry snow at upper elevations. Limited wind transport due to high density of the snow.
Snow began rollerballing on SE to SW aspects mid day.
We skied some steeper east facing terrain at upper elevations where the snow was moist but not quite rollerballing yet. We got some minor sluffing. A little more heat and it would have been wet loosing. North aspects remained dry.
