Turned out to be a beautful day in the jewel basin with sunny skies, minimal wind. no natural avalanches seen. dug one pit at 6300', WNW aspect. HS was 170 cm, notable result of CT 25 with Q1-2 shear quality, ECTN in the 20s as well about 60 cm down for both failures. E aspects had notable wind affect though skiing on w, n and east aspects between 5800-7k showed no instabilty and premium creamy pow.
