Skier triggered avalanche one quarter of the way down the slope above Beaver Pond off the summit of Ghoulie. Third skier triggered the slide, skiers were spaced out about 30-40 feet across the slope skiing one at a time. Slide was 12-16 inches deep and about 20 feet wide consisting of loose and unstable snow collected during the Sunday morning storm cycle, likely wind transported. We dug two pits afterward and struggled to get repeated or consistent results.Whoomphing and shooting cracks were present throughout the day but not consistently throughout different aspects. No skiers trapped in avalanche.
