Stability was great all day. We saw lots of point release wet slides coming off rock bands, especially on east-facing aspects, but they were small and manageable by minding the terrain below.
Skied over debris from a wet-slide from the past couple days which was large but appeared to be a point release from the cliffs above that had entrained a lot of snow on the way down, with no visible crown suggesting a slab.
I was surprised by the lack of surface hoar noted all day. The snow most of the day was unaffected by wind except on ridgetops above 6800’, where winds picked up and slabs were starting to form. This was the only place all day I saw shallow cracking under my skis.
We skied north aspects with good stability. Suncrust was setting up on the valley floor at the end of the day. You could see the wind whipping up high at the end of the day,
