Temps: 30F above 5,500 ft with calm winds and decreasing cloud cover. A very still day on ridge lines today. Total snow depths ranging from 24" to 35". Mid- elevations (5,500-6,500ft) continue to present varying test results. N aspect 5,050 ft CT10 SP on new/old snow interface. PST(Arr) 75/100cm. Hardness change 4F/P, 12/9 interface. CT13 SC @ facet interface SE (5,860 ft) CT8 RP 10cm below new/old snow interface. Several propagating test results found on westerly aspects at mid-elevations, failing on faceted grains 8-10" above the ground and new/old snow interfaces from 12/9. SW aspect (5,860 ft) ECTP 13 at facet layer interface. We observed isolated cracking under skis 6" down on West aspects at mid-elevations. Only propagating test results at upper elevations were found on a ENE aspect (6,750 ft) CT20 SP and ECTP 17 at facet interface. Facets composed bottom 25cm of pack. Test pits on westerly aspects at the same elevation had no results. ECTN on a West aspect at 6,500 ft with faceted grains to the ground. East aspects had new cornice develop on ridge lines, not reactive and drops resulted in no results.
