Hiked up Hellroaring peak, via the Taylor creek Hellfore junction. The storm snow depth varied through the trees, and no notable wind loading along the ridge. We dug a 150cm pit on the S aspect at about 6700 ft. We found a slight sun crust under about 4cm of new snow, however, it was non reactive in our stability test. We had an ECTN7 at 28cm.
