There was plenty of wind and new snow blowing around today. At ridge tops we found pillows and thin (2-6") wind slab formation with limited reactivity (see photo). We skied more open runs on NW and East aspects (elevations 5500 to 7600') that did have wind buffed pow but no reactivity to skinning, skiing or ski cutting. On more sheltered N and E face slopes there was 12-15" of unconsolidated dry powder.
