On the SW slope coming up from the canyon approching skook ridge about 25-30 cm of storm snow was unaffected by the wind and density decreased towards the top of the new snow.
Moderate to strong south easterly winds along the ridge between skook and grizzly ridge was creating scouring and some slope cross loading.
As usual large cornice formation continues on the NW leeward side of the skook-grizzly ridge and was easy to crack with moderate pressure from a skier.
Our pit did produce a sensitive layer 15-20 cm down in addition to reactive layers 45 cm and on the Thanksgiving crust 120 cm.
