Slab depths are 4” to 6” in depth and widespread in regards to elevation and exposure. Most occurred on slopes greater than about 40 degrees and have some solar exposure. Also, most are in the lower 1/3 elevation of the Program Area avalanche prone terrain.  NONE have stepped down into deeper layers.
