From small wet point releases, to small wind slabs near ridgelines triggered by cornice fall, to glide avalanches, to large wet snow slides. We observed debris from plenty of recent avalanches on a tour in the vicinity of Mount Grant.

Single digit temps at 5:00am at bottom of Pinnacle Creek Road with clear skies.  Clear and calm conditions all day in the Tunnel and Stanton drainages, but at the 8500' ridgetops a moderate wind blew from the west.  Snow was blowing of the highest ridges, but it was sublimating before being deposited. At noon the temp near the summit of Grant was 15 degrees F.
