More detailed information about the snowpack:

Found the unexpected, minimal wind effect from the previous days storm.  Mixed conditions, so you will have to poke around.  We found mostly softsnow, with good to great ski quality.  Everything were you would expect ot find it underneath the surface, sun crust, rain crust.....   Above 6000' the rain crust disipated, but there was a pretty good 4 finger layer supporting up to 40 cms of soft snow, overlying facets/SH on top another 4 finger layer.  One skier triggered slide on a convex rollover, east aspect, 7100', east aspect, taking the top 40, including the first density layer change on top of the facets/SH.  40cm crown, 80' in width and ran about 100'.
