More detailed information about the snowpack: 

4-5" of new fell overnight on the melt/freeze crust and surface hoar, more concentrated on leeward N/NE aspects. It was somewhat reactive in hand shears on the slopes above Beaver Ponds.  Heavy melt/freeze crust with wind affected buff on our traverse back below Half Moon Slide.
