Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Dug a quick pit and had consistent stability test results showing a reactive storm slab moving on the Jan 12th rain crust.  HS 160cm.

Tests Results: ECTN 23 @110cm (on rain crust), CTM17 Q1 @110, CTM12 Q1 @110, CTM15 Q1 @110, and CT22 Q3 @Ground.

The new rain crust (buried ~50cm from the surface) is a slippery little addition to the snowpack! Also, the December 9th rain crust was well-buried and bonded to surrounding layers, but well developed facets still linger below it.
