Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Snow Depth in the area ranged from 135-165 cm. Deteriorating Dec. 9 crust was 20-30cm from the ground. Also, depth hoar at the ground. Only results in stability tests were ECTN with moderate force at interface of mid December snow and recent storm snow. Light wind increased in the afternoon (est 2-5mph)and breaks in clouds allowed us to see surrounding ridges with no wind transport ocurring.
