Enjoyed a lovely tour on this warm spring day. Surface crust was supportable on all aspects and elevations in the morning to 7000 ft except north. A paper thin fain crust caps dry snow above 6000 ft on these surfaces.
All avalanches (5-6) were wet loose point releases that fanned out below rock features on steep south facing slopes and only ran mid path or so. All D2 and R1. Most likely occurred two days ago with the initial warming. No rollerballs observed but stayed off steeper slopes in general today.
