Traveled from 4800'-7400' in mostly north through north west to west terrain. Steady snow most of the day at all elevations with roughly 4-6" at 4900'. From 6500'-7400' new snow increased significantly. 18-24" above 7k. New snow was bonding relatively well at upper elevations but some cracking within storm snow. Storm snow was relatively cohensionless. Other than that no instabilities were observed.
Lots of natural wet loose avalanches observed on all aspects. Some very impressive debris piles in lower portions of valleys, broken trees etc. Seems like most of them origanted at rain/snow line.
Pretty much any open steep slope on both sides of the drainage from the end of the road to the end of the basin had debris piles at the bottom.
