Observed 12-24" of mid-density, fresh snow from Switchback Trail up to the radio tower on the NW ridge of Aeneas.
A steady SW wind deterred us from skiing the picnic lakes bowl. Dense wind drifts on the ridge were a clue for an existing wind slab in the bowl.
