Quick Observation
I went for two short valley floor walks in the past couple of days.
There was surprisingly little debris associated with the recent warm-up or the late-February storm cycle.
Both drainages hold impressive debris piles from the January 13 weather event.
Clear weather Friday allowed the snow surface to cool for a speedy low-elevation egress. Saturday's warm, cloudy weather resulted in wet, heavy mush that did not support skis at low-elevations.
