Not every day you get to watch wolves on large debris piles.

Went for a quick windshield tour to look for signs of wind transport and recent avalanches. I got way more than I asked for. 

• No recent avalanches were observed in the Lake Mcdonald zone or on Nyack. 
• Light wind transport off of the highest peaks in Glacier National Park near Lake Mcdonald. 
• Obvious cross-loading onto southerly aspects from north winds.
• We found more impressive debris piles from the 1/13 avalanche cycle up the North Fork. 
• Further north and outside the forecast area we observed one very large natural avalanche. I would guess that it failed within the last couple days. Next to it was an impressive glide crack. See photo.
