Headed back to the Canyon Creek area. MUCH colder today with stronger winds throughout the day. Snow transport was visible throughout the day as well, filling in the skin track by the end of the day. Skied various aspects off Flower with no signs of instability. Eventually made our way to the Goulie area and down towards skiers left Kona. No signs of instability here as well. Skied slopes 35 - 40 degrees without any signs of instability. Roughly 50cm of new snow on top of the 1/13 crust in this area that was not cohesive enough to form any slabs.
Of note, today was more of a clinic on what not to do while skiing out of bounds off WMR. There were multiple people skiing and snowboarding this stretch of the Canyon without any gear, some of them solo without any gear. Also, one individual decided to put their skin track in straight through the center of the Skook Chutes... very bold choice. We put our skin track on the opposite side (south/Flower side) high enough to avoid any possible avalanches that could possibly cross the road (as has happened in the past).
