Our party chose conservative, low angle terriain for our tour today in the Flathead range and skied NE, E and SE aspects up to 7300 feet. We found the snow line from earlier this week and deep trenching at 5500ft. Intermitent sun by late morning laid claim to solar aspects and a soft sun crust was capping pow by midafternoon. Drainages closer to the divide were getting more cloud cover. Snow stayed dry or north aspects.
