Got some redemption on the crust we skied yesterday in the MF, Headed towards the continental divide to see if rumors were true about the crust no being an issue. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!!
Under mostly sunny skies we skied creamy pow and dry powder dependent on the aspect. The winds kept the surface snow cold up high even on solar aspects. We observed scoured S facing slopes above 7000. We were happy to be off west aspects before noon, but did not observe much roller balls at higer elevations, The snowpack seemed stable through out the day.
