-some Slab formation on Alameda drainage aspects south and southwest aspects (see pic)
- Marion Lake drainage has some wind effect especially above 7000 feet,
-best snow found in trees with north or east aspects
-since last storm point release avalanche on south and east aspects (see pic)
Traveled up to Marion Lake from Essex, did a lap on in the trees on the alameda/Essex ridge, did a second into the Marion bowl to check out snow, toured up to summit 7798 via south ridge, skied a bit into alameda. Gained ridge again and descended to Marion Lakes.
