took the layup into wahoo today. about 1-3" of new snow since sunday's skin track. the usual nw aspect held good albeit settled pow without wind effect or instability except for mild sluffting on steep roll overs. the east aspect of the wahoo/cascadilla ridge and the n aspect of nyack showed obvious signs of wind hammered effect. no nautral activity. trees were shedding snow in the afternoon but snow didn't seem wet, or significantly warmed. no evidence of surface hoar. minimal wind today.
