Whitefish Avalanche Awareness and State of the Snowpack

Free and open to everyone! We are pairing our final Avalanche Awareness talk of the season with 2023's first State of the Snowpack. Ted Steiner, FOFAC Board President and longtime avalanche worker, will host this awesome evening of avalanche education. 

Our avalanche awareness presentation is based on the Know Before You Go program: simple steps to have fun and stay safe in avalanche-prone terrain. At the end, Ted will present on current conditions, then answer questions from the audience.
